The Fall of Mairon

After all this time, there is some Mairon left in Sauron still.

As to our interpretation of this character, we really imagine the Silmarillion times Mairon/Sauron as this big, nice manly guy. He’s a smith and a craftsman after all, and we bet that the making of Arda after Ainulindalë was tough physical labour sometimes actually, even despite the significant power of the Maiar. I mean, building mountains and things… And tobe honest it’s awesome to imagine him making some miniscule precise things like rings while taking on a form of such a big guy XD (And as a big guy he’s much more intimidating on the battlefield, leading troops in some scary helmet. It’s another entertaining idea to think of lets say, Noldor reactions if he was to take it off XD)

Of course the Maiar can look in any way they please, so it’s just our own image of Sauron, no hard feelings! …I kind of want to try and figure his Annatar look later, it might be hilarious (and probably without the beard) XD
